Cookie and Storage Policy
Last updated: August 29, 2026
This policy covers cookies, local and session storage, tags, pixels, and similar technologies. Optional product analytics and advertising measurement operate only where described below and according to your saved choices.
Necessary storage
- raadsr_privacy: first-party HttpOnly cookie; when present, stores a signed anonymous privacy-preference receipt for up to 180 days.
- better-auth session cookie: first-party HttpOnly authentication cookie; lasts for the configured account session.
- sidebar_state: first-party preference cookie; remembers dashboard navigation state for seven days.
- theme: first-party local storage; remembers the selected color theme until removed.
- raadsr.pending-assessment.v1: first-party local storage used only when you ask to preserve a completed assessment while signing in; removed after binding or cancellation.
Product analytics
- raadsr.acquisition-session.v1: session storage containing a random browser-session ID.
- raadsr.acquisition-attribution.v1: session storage containing limited UTM source, medium, and campaign values.
- raadsr.google-analytics.pending-purchase-amount.v2: session storage containing only the selected USD price in cents (990, 3500, or 8800) until a confirmed checkout returns.
- First-party journey events: may include page path, referrer host, campaign data, and assessment journey milestones. They exclude answers, scores, names, account IDs, email addresses, and IP addresses.
- Google Analytics 4: may use analytics cookies to measure visits on approved public content pages. It may also receive only the anonymous conversion-event names homepage view, test start, completion of all 80 assessment questions, purchase-button click, and verified USD $9.90, $35, or $88 payment completion; these events use the public homepage as their page location and exclude screening, report, account, and payment-page content.
- Microsoft Clarity: may use the first-party _clck and _clsk cookies after analytics consent to produce heatmaps and session recordings on approved public content pages. Clarity is disabled on screening, report, account, settings, admin, and payment pages, and Microsoft Ads storage remains denied.
Advertising measurement
The Google Ads tag may set or access Google-controlled identifiers on approved public marketing pages. Advertising personalization and Google Signals remain disabled. Google’s retention is governed by its own policies. The tag is removed on unapproved routes, and Global Privacy Control locks advertising measurement off.
The OpenAI Ads Measurement Pixel records a registration_completed event only after a new account is actually created. The event contains the customer_action type, a zero USD value, the current site origin, and any privacy-preserving ChatGPT ad referral identifier handled by the Pixel. It does not contain a name, email address, account ID, password, assessment answer, score, or account-page path. The Pixel starts with measurement consent off and sends the event only when advertising measurement is allowed; Global Privacy Control keeps it off.
Controls
Use the “Turn off analytics and advertising measurement” control in the site footer to stop both categories immediately. We store the resulting signed preference receipt for up to 180 days. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, advertising measurement is locked off.
